This wood toxicity table shares information about the toxic chemicals found in different woods. In addition to these chemicals, please be aware that wood dust is often further contaminated by pesticides, herbicides, pollution, preservatives, and the many different chemicals that can be used to keep wood from cracking while it dries, our wood fillers, and the various finishes we use.
